House Profile: Lambourne House provides a high quality home for 9 adults with a learning disability. The home is situated in a quiet, private avenue but within a short walking distance to the beach and town centre. The local area provides amenities, such as a swimming pool, nature reserve, horse riding, pubs and bird sanctuary which the residents can access. Chichester is 9 miles away, where residents can attend college and go to the cinema, social club and theatre. Activities within the home include life skills, art and craft, music and aromatherapy.

The house has been extensively refurbished to a very high standard. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, of which four are on the ground floor. The home boasts a large main lounge, fully integrated kitchen, separate dining room, visitors lounge and sensory room. It has a large back garden as well as a plot of land in front of the house, where residents can enjoy playing outdoor games, gardening and sensory walks.

The staff team have experience in supporting people with autism, epilepsy and some complex behaviour. The high ratio of staff to support residents will ensure that the people who live at Lambourne House have the opportunity to lead a full and active life within the local community and will promote their independence and autonomy.
