House Profile: The Home is situated not far from the town of Newbury which has many facilities including a Day Centre for Adults with Learning Disabilities and a full working farm that provides agricultural and horticultural learning nearby.

As with all ACH homes there is a company vehicle, enabling the residents the opportunity to access surrounding areas.

Activities within the home include life skills, arts and craft training. The staff are proactive in encouraging a person centred approach to assist in developing peoples skills to help clients develop independence.

The staff team have experience in supporting people with autism, epilepsy and some complex behaviours. The high ratio of staff to support residents ensures that the people who live at Newton House have the opportunity to lead a full and active lifestyle within the local community.
