House Profile: Ashford Lodge is a warm and light residential home located in a quiet residential street in the South East of Kent between Ashford and Canterbury town centres. Ashford Lodge is set up to accommodate adults who have mild to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. The staff team are an experienced group and have undertaken an intensive quality induction and training to equip them to attend to the needs of the residents. The environment has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. All bedrooms have an en suite bath, shower or wet room.

Ashford Lodge provides many in house activities including a skills room where residents enjoy arts & crafts, sensory time and computers, as well as community inclusion such as Bowling, Trampolining & Swimming on a weekly basis, there are college courses in the area which residents can choose from such as, NVQs in computers, Music and Numbers & Literacy.

The local Community Learning Disability Team is located nearby and offer a consultant psychiatrist, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, behaviour management and nursing input. Ashford lodge promote a person centred ethos and support all residents to be a part of the running of the home, plan their own menus with healthy eating in mind and develop their own Lifestyle improvement plans.
