ACH aims to assist the residents to develop their independence, autonomy, knowledge, confidence and daily living skills in order to enable them to live a full and independent life as possible as a full part of the local community.

ACH aims to provide the highest standard of twenty-four hour therapeutic support, promoting independent thought and normalisation within a calming and homely environment.

The promotion of choice, independence and autonomy through encouragement and empowerment is an integral part of the support planning. For each individual resident our primary aim is to implement a detailed, carefully planned package of support.

This is done using a multi-professional approach targeted to the individual's needs and aspirations. Careful risk assessment, monitoring and review lie at the heart of this successful formula.
