Welcome to the ACH Care Homes Website

ACH Care Homes

The ACH group provides person-centred support to adults with a learning disability, including people with associated and complex needs such as epilepsy, autistic spectrum disorders, multiple disabilities, including sensory impairments and people who may present challenges.

ACH homes provide very high quality homely environments from which people are supported to develop a meaningful and active life in local communities.

The ACH Group was founded in 2000 and has established an excellent reputation for high quality, progressive and accountable support and care. We are committed to ensuring our homes are friendly, relaxed, creative and stimulating places for people to live in and believe our focus on attention to detail has ensured we are recognised as a leader in the field.

The homes universally benefit from professional interior design with, where appropriate, calming colours and suitably safe furnishings throughout. All bedrooms meet the appropriate legal Standards and the vast majority exceeds them. En suite bathrooms, showers or wet rooms are fitted as standard. All those living in ACH homes are encouraged to personalise their rooms/bedsits/flats according to their individual wishes. Where appropriate we work with our team of occupational therapists and other professionals to provide bespoke environments designed around the individual requirements of people with complex needs. We are proud of the high specification of facilities we provide, including sensory rooms, spacious living areas and secure well-maintained gardens with summerhouses. Where appropriate we encourage people to build skills and integrate into their communities by using public transport. However, for individual convenience and practicality dedicated air-conditioned vehicles also service all the homes, providing choice and ensuring people's lives are not limited in any way due to availability of transport.

ACH places great importance on quality staff recruitment and provides some of the highest levels of individualised support in the sector. Staff are selected upon the basis of their empathetic skills, their experience and the individual contribution they can make to the lives of the people we support. They are supported, trained and supervised by a talented and highly qualified management team.
